Immersive Audio Encoding

DTS:X Encoder Suite

With the addition of four height-channels, audio "objects" can now exist in a 3D space — a truly immersive surround-sound experience. Over 90% of Blu-ray titles use DTS audio.

DTS:X Encoder Suite

The DTS:X Encoder Suite is the successor to DTS-HD Master Audio Suite and delivers the ability to create, modify and QC legacy DTS-HD and next-generation immersive DTS:X audio bitstreams. Supporting up to 12.1 channel and object-based encoding of DTS:X Master Audio for Blu-ray Disc, Ultra HD Blu-ray and other premium digital media formats, the DTS:X Encoder Suite provides a critical link in delivering next-generation theatrical and episodic content for use in the home consumer market.

Existing owners of DTS Master Audio Suite are entitled to a special upgrade discount — contact us for more information on this exclusive offer.

Highest Quality Immersive Audio

DTS:X Master Audio is the only codec that offers truly 24-bit lossless and discrete immersive audio for Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray and other digital formats, while maintaining full backward compatibility with legacy DTS-HD and DTS Digital Surround devices.

Advanced Coding Options

New options for more efficiently coding DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio content to help reduce file sizes and bit rates, plus a Peak Bitrate Analysis Graph for detailed, graphical bitstream analysis.

Simplified Workflow

Perform full-file and segment-based encodes from a wide range of input formats, including PCM WAV, AIF, BWAV and object-based M2X. Edit and verify encoded files without an additional encode pass.

Quality Control Playback

Includes DTS:X MediaPlayer for real-time playback of DTS:X and DTS-HD stream types synchronized with AVC and HEVC video at up to 4K resolutions, with frame-accurate sync and random access seeking.
